SRH's collapses in run chases

Sunrisers Hyderabad have suffered four massive collapses since IPL 2019. 15/8 vs DC Hyderabad (55 off 29) In the 30th match of IPL 2019 played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad were chasing 156 against Delhi capitals. The team was off to a great start with openers Jonny Bairstow and David Warner adding 72 runs from just 9.5 hours. Bairstow was dismissed on 41 off 31 deliveries with 5 fours, having scored his runs at a strike rate of 132. Kane Williamson was out in the 12th over while David Warner's wicket followed in the 17th over. In no time, SRH were bowled out in 18.5 overs as they lost 8 wickets for just 15 runs and conceded the match by 39 runs. 32/8 vs RCB Dubai (43 off 29) In the third match of IPL 2020, played in the UAE behind closed doors, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore came up against each other at the Dubai international cricket stadium. Bangalore scored 163 and Hyderabad were well on their way to victory. After David Warner was dismissed in the second over, Manish Pandey joined Jonny Bairstow to add 71 runs for the second wicket. Pandey was dismissed in the 12th over for 34. Jonny Bairstow was dismissed by YuzvendraChahal for a 43-ball 61, at a strike rate of 141.86. They went on to lose the match by 10 runs. 14/7 vs KXIP Dubai (27 off 24) In a similar occurrence in the same year, Sunrisers Hyderabad did well to restrict Kings XI Punjab to just 126/7 from their 20 overs. Sandeep Sharma, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder were their best bowlers and picked up two wickets each. Sunrisers Hyderabad were almost guaranteed to register a victory, especially when David Warner and Jonny Bairstow added more than 50 runs from the opening partnership. However, both Warner and Bairstow were dismissed in a gap of one over. Despite 26 from Vijay Shankar, the Hyderabad slide did not stop till they lost their last 7 wickets for just 14 runs and in turn, lost the match by 12 runs. 29/7 vs RCB Chennai (35 off 24) Another such choke was on display in IPL 2021 when Hyderabad lost their last 7 wickets for just 29 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore to lose the match by 6 runs.
