IFS officer shares video of snow leopard family in Himachal; watch here

IFS (Indian Forest Service) officer Parveen Kaswan shared a video that shows snow leopard cubs reuniting with their mother after hearing her call.

The video was captured by Ankur Rapria, IRS, last week in Kibber village in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh. In the video, we can see the babies running across the mountain and making their way to where their mother is resting.

The video shared by Kaswan has garnered about 1.50 lakh views and 3,500 likes on Twitter.

Kaswan shared the video with the caption: "The ghost of the mountains. A snow leopard family captured by good friend @irsankurrapria.They are one of the most agile hunters on earth."

He further wrote facts about the leopard species.

"It’s a mother with two cubs. Snow leopards are most adaptable to high and cold altitudes. They are known for their acrobatics including running on steep slopes and long jumps."
