Ducati’s Long Menu: 11 New Motorcycles This Year

In 2022, Italian motorcycle maker Ducati will launch as many as 11 new motorcycles

At the very beginning of the year 2022, Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has made the moto-enthusiasts happy by announcing the arrival of 11 new motorcycles. 2021 was successful for Ducati as the company crowded the motorcycle world with 15 models. This year, the number is short by four but the upcoming 11 motorcycles from the company are going to be an epitome of finest automobile engineering.

Motorcycles in the first quarter

The first quarter of 2022 will see models such as the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro that was unveiled at the Ducati World Premiere a few months ago along with the Panigale V2 Troy Bayliss edition (Panigale V2 with Troy Bayliss’ 2001 WBSK title-winning 996R livery). After the launch of these two motorcycles, Ducati will bring in the Multistrada V2 and the Scrambler 800 Urban Motard.

Motorcycles in the second quarter

Post the launches of the above-mentioned motorcycles, Ducati will take the wraps off the Streetfighter V4 SP, followed by the launch of the Panigale V4; Streetfighter V4 SP’s fully-faired sibling. Later on, Ducati will introduce the Streetfighter V2, which is likely to reach the Indian showrooms, and after V2, the Italian brand will launch the Multistrada Pikes Peak V4 and the XDiavelPoltrona Frau.

DesertX, the most awaited Ducati, will be launched by the end of 2022

Ducati will save the best for the last, the DesertX model that is likely to arrive at the end of the year 2022. The DesertX will be Ducati’s first hardcore ADV motorcycle in a long time. The motorcycle is likely to go against the Honda Africa Twin. Not to forget, around the year end, Ducati will also introduce the Panigale V4 SP.

Ducati’s official statement about the announcement

Ducati India’s Managing Director Bipul Chandra said, “We promised to launch 15 new models at the start of 2021, and despite the tumultuous year for the auto sector, we managed to keep that promise. It is commendable how Ducati has stood strong through thick and thin, especially in the last 2 years, and thanks to that, we are ready with yet another year of back-to-back launches.”
