Ajay Devgn performed puja at the temple and shared that he had wanted to come here for a very long time.
Ajay Devgn is basking in the glory of his latest release ‘Drishyam 2’. The film has managed to impress the audience and critics alike, and has witnessed the second biggest opening for Bollywood in 2022.
Post the film’s success, the actor recently paid a visit to Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi. He took to his Instagram handle to share a picture from his visit on Friday. He also performed puja at the temple and revealed that he had wanted to come here for a very long time.
In the picture, Ajay is seen in the temple premises with garlands around his neck. Sporting a blue sweatshirt and black pants, Ajay kneeled down to the floor and offered prayers while a priest helped him. With a lot of devotees in the background, Ajay was joined by police personnel, who stood behind him.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Ajay captioned it as, "Kashi Vishwanath ke darshan (trident emblem emoji)." He continued and wrote, " Been waiting for this for a very long time! Har har mahadev."
