Add these most gorgeous beaches in Thailand to your bucket list.
With heaps of islands open for exploration, Thailand is surrounded by pristine water on almost every side. No wonder, it is home to some of the most stunning beaches in the world. While the list of beaches is long in Thailand, we are here to help you.
We give you a list of beaches you must-visit on a trip to Thailand.
Railay Beach, Krabi
Only accessible by boat from Krabi or Ao Nang, Railay Beach has the blue sparkling water of the Andaman Sea on one side and the dramatic cliffs on the other offering a calm atmosphere like no other. The white-sand paradise offers a quiet and laid-back experience combined with their incredible views. Hear the call of birds while witnessing the monkeys jump through the branches and exploring the long-tail boats, cliffs, caves and jungle landscapes.
Maya Bay, Koh Phi Phi
Maya Bay is said to be one of the most sublime beaches of Thailand. The beach was made famous during Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie The Beach and has since become a tourist spot, especially during the peak season of November to April. Despite the crowd, the beach is still gorgeous and you can easily find a quiet spot. With the jungle in the background, the white sands meet the sparkling azure waters, making it nothing short of a private paradise.
Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe
The Sunrise Beach was named after the phenomenal sunrise views that it offers. While Koh Lipe is gaining traction among tourists, Sunrise Beach is still an undiscovered tropical paradise. The turquoise waters amalgamated with the white sandy beaches offer a relaxed ambience ideal to spend a day or ten. Remember to wake up early and watch the sunrise from the shores.
Freedom Beach, Phuket
The crowning jewel in Phuket, Freedom Beach offers a chance to spend the entire day relaxing and snorkelling among its clear waters. You can reach the beach via a long tail boat from Patong, as it is difficult to access by land. It is a picturesque, unspoiled 300-metre-long stretch of soft white sands with jungle and hills on one side and the waters on the other. It is the ideal place to indulge in some tranquillity.
Remember to pack loads of sunscreen, water and a bathing suit before visiting these stunning beaches.
